Although I wasn't originally going to draw my dog, I saw him waiting near the kitchen counter when my mom was chopping veggies, and I couldn't help myself. I'm not really happy with this though... perhaps too much blank space?
I keep coming back and looking at this but keep forgetting to comment! I <3 it, the level of detail and the variation of line thickness is great. Love the rhythm in the dogs ear/chest as well. My only comment would be to push the darks in the nose to draw the eye. Lovely work!

ReplyDeleteI think if you tried making the angle lower/ more extreme, it'd favour the dog's perspective more and make the whole composition more interesting. :D
